Eaton Elementary School
Mr. Brandon Eatman, will lead Eaton Elementary School as acting principal. During the 2022-2023 school year, Principal Eatman most recently served as Interim Principal of Hardy Middle School and Roosevelt High School. Previously, he served as an Assistant Principal and Interim Principal at Phelps A.C.E. High School during School Year 2021-2022. For two years prior, he was the Assistant Principal of Benjamin Banneker Academic High School. Mr. Eatman is a proud 29-year veteran of DCPS, who began his career in the elementary school classroom as a kindergarten teacher prior to advancing into leadership roles. As the founding principal of Capitol Hill Montessori at Logan, he led the school for seven years.
As an education leader, Principal Eatman is committed to serving and strengthening school communities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University, a Master of Education from George Mason University, and an Executive Master's in Leadership (EML) from Georgetown University.
