Potential volunteers with an active secret or top-secret federal security clearance may complete the Federal Security Clearance Verification Form in lieu of being fingerprinted with DCPS. The form may be accessed via the highlighted link and may only be used for applicants who are interested in providing volunteer service with DCPS (i.e. the form may not be used by prospective employees, contractors, interns etc.). Please also note, all volunteers seeking to waive the fingerprinting requirement via the federal clearance process must first complete the DCPS Clearance Application. The federal clearance form cannot be processed until the DCPS Clearance Application has been received.
Process for Volunteers:
- Complete DCPS Clearance Application for volunteer service.
- Have this form signed by HR office at the granting agency.
