Why DCPS?
Choosing DCPS is a no-brainer in my household. We believe fully that the reach of public resources supported by engaged communities can nurture intellectual curiosity and drive achievement for all students. Public education is our society’s best equalizer.

Why am I excited to be a member of the Chancellor’s Parent Cabinet?
I believe in Chancellor Wilson and am eager to support his priorities, especially promotion equity across all schools. Service on the Cabinet allows parents from across the District to collaborate toward achieving the hopes and dreams we all share for our children.

Issues I care about most as a parent:
I want the Districts children to leave school with the skills they’ll need to be happy and successful in college and life beyond. The trend in DC is for a greater share of jobs requiring college degrees. We need to open access to these jobs by preparing our kids.
